Financial Inclusion

Financial inclusion programme were conducted in unbanked area of East Khasi Hills, West Khasi Hills and Ri Bhoi District. Thousands of people had openned their account after the programme and hundreds had received the KCC loan from different banks.

KKSCO along with RBI (Shillong) MRB, MCAB, SBI and NABARD has travelled the length and breadth of the regions of Khasi, Jaintia, & Ri Bhoi for conducting financial literacy campaign.

KKSCO was also the business correspondence (BC) of the State Bank of India. Two BC had been established one in Wahlang and the second one is in Garikhana. About 500 KCC (Kisan credit card) loan had been implemented through the SBI and account of more than 11 hundred had been opened till date.
