The programme aimed to revitalize the traditional art of handloom weaving while fostering sustainable livelihoods for the rural population. The programme commenced with comprehensive training and capacity-building sessions. Artisans were equipped with the techniques of handloom weaving, from thread selection and dyeing to intricate designs and pattern creation. Furthermore, the project introduced contemporary methods to enhance productivity and product quality, ensuring that traditional craftsmanship blended seamlessly with market demands.
